I love having conversations with people at various stages of their business. You learn many fascinating things and gain unique perspectives on why they do what they do, what jazzes them, and know that they too have struggles.
Sometimes it’s easy to feel like you’re all alone in your journey and the resources are scarce to make your dream lifestyle a reality.
Way back in, probably, 2015 I met a wonderfully vibrant person. After that first meeting, I was always delighted to see her at other networking events. Over the years, we had lost touch. I was scrolling my LinkedIn feed and saw her and realized that she started her own consulting business. I was curious to see what she was up to now and asked her to come join us on today’s show.

Mary works as an ecosystem builder, a small business consultant, a micro loan broker, and a non-profit consultant. Borealis Consulting, LLC was born to bridge gaps identified within the small business ecosystem, and to assist business focused organizations as they strive to do the same.
Today you’ll learn what triggered her to start her own business, what she struggles with the most only being two years into her newly founded business, and how she builds other businesses by connecting them with the resources they need to prosper.
