This week, I’m wrapping up the three-part series about the Great Resignation with Genesis Eakes and Linda Guild. Each one of us has our unique perspective about the phenomena and what the future holds.

If you’re tuning in for the first time, or missed the last two weeks, be sure to go back and listen.

People in droves are leaving their jobs to find something better. In 2011, I left a career because I was burnt out and unhappy. I wanted more out of life. I chose to create a business to fit a lifestyle of travel. It wasn’t the easiest path, but I do have to say it has been rewarding.

The pandemic had bought about a mass mindset shift of people wanting something more out of life and demanding a new way of earning a living. There are more opportunities than ever to choose what lifestyle we want to live.

The collective mindset shift is disrupting how organizations are motivating their teams and how employees are finding creative ways to earn a living.

This episode is the third and final episode where my friends and colleagues Genesis Eakes, Linda Guild, and I discuss how organizations, employees, and solopreneurs can navigate these new workplace waters.

Each of us have our unique perspective of what we’re seeing and how it’s affecting the marketplace, our clients, and even our friends and families. This episode features our final thoughts of how you can communicate to your employer, your employees, or yourself to get what you want out of work.

CEO of Genesis Eakes International, Genesis is a consultant who serves mission driven organizations and she’s seeing firsthand the effects of what the pandemic has done to companies’ culture and the havoc it has been on production.

Linda is the founder of TAPP,  the Talented Alliance of Part-time Professionals. She sees how thinking of creative work schedules through the lens of part-time employment solutions helps fill gaps for many.

My perspective is one from leaving the corporate world because I wanted something different out of life. I wanted to earn a living where I could create a lifestyle of more freedom of schedule and travel.

In today’s episode, we share our final thoughts as we give examples of how we may communicate and listen to ultimately get what we want out of life and career. Gaining different perspectives on the subject can help you craft your dream lifestyle.

Enjoy!
