Do you produce a blog consistently? Either publishing an article, podcast, or video on your website?

No? Why not?

In today’s podcast, I share that I waited far too long to start my blog. I should’ve started producing consistent content way before my corporate life ended.

I didn’t because at the time I opened my own business, I didn’t realize the impact of a consistent blog would have on the longevity of my business.

I had this misperception that I needed to have everything about my business figured out and have a formal content plan drafted before I should start my blog. When I first started my business, I didn't have a clear picture of who my ideal client would be...let alone how to talk with them.

I felt inadequate because I'd see what the people I follow were doing and would become overwhelmed.

They are doing so much! Blogging, social posts, live events, courses, podcasting, video. And then they talk about stuff like list building, freebies, email segmentation, tagging, funnels, auto sequences, audience targeting....

Oh my!!! It's enough to make your head spin!

You start to feel terrible because you think you should be doing all that stuff. And instead of starting, you feel the mountain is so big, you simply feel like imploding.

Deep breath…

If the idea of starting (or restarting) your blog makes your head swim, I invite you to listen to this week’s podcast.

I share why you shouldn’t wait to have everything figured out about your business before you start your blog. I also share what the single most important thing you must worry about in the beginning.

It doesn’t matter if it’s an article, a podcast, or a video…if you’re a service provider of any kind, you need to blog for the longevity of your business.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a…

But how will they find you and know how well you can solve their problems without them getting to know, like and trust you?

You have an audience waiting…what are you waiting for?
