It’s time to celebrate! I think it’s pretty cool to have accomplished publishing fifty podcast episodes.
This fiftieth episode, I did something drastic. I changed my branding from the Accomplish More podcast to The Gayla Scrivener Show.
The reason was I had been struggling with the “Accomplish More” name. Accomplish more is the tagline of my virtual assistant business, Scrivener Solutions.
It works in that space. When you hire a virtual assistant, you will literally accomplish more. When you accomplish more by getting more of the routine work done in your business, your focus and mental energy are better diverted to other business growth activities. The activities only you can do.
As the saying goes, “many hands make light work,” when you’re ready to delegate to your first VA, you’ll truly understand what that means. It’s quite a remarkable feeling to build a great team with systems that make things happen without you thinking about it.
I love my Scrivener Solutions team. I love helping our clients to accomplish more. But for several weeks now, the name “Accomplish More” didn’t seem to resonate with how I truly wanted to serve you.
It may be presumptuous for me to name the show after myself. After all, I’m not famous by any means. I hope to be better known in the future, but I won’t be known at all unless I show up.
By renaming the show and embracing the thought of self-branding, I feel I have more leeway of the subjects I will address.

A personal brand is based on creating a business that encompasses your talents, experiences, and expertise to teach, inspire, or even entertain others. Having a personal brand allows you the freedom to evolve as most will evolve or pivot focus over time. Your audience will evolve and pivot over time as well.
Just like there’s only one you…you are the voice and influencer of your own business. People with similar interests and passion want to learn from you and be inspired by you. They want to be inspired to act. They want to learn from someone like you who has walked the path and learn from your experiences and mistakes making their journey easier.
I’m so glad you are tuning into the newly branded Gayla Scrivener Show. I look forward to sharing more with you about how I’ve created and am growing my freedom business. Freedom to me means having the ability to work and live from practically anywhere…to not limit my travel…to not limit my earning potential…and to have the freedom to live life on my own terms.
